Program Membership

Program membership

One membership for the whole organization.

CCAPP program membership covers your organization and every non-clinical member of your staff, and it now includes the employer dashboard — so you can see who is compliant without asking anyone.

$500a year, per organization

Licensed, registered and certified staff hold their own $100 individual membership — in their name, and theirs to keep. Counselors can pay for it themselves, and many programs choose to cover it as a staff benefit. That part is optional, and nothing in program membership depends on it.

Know who’s compliant. Without asking anyone.

The employer dashboard shows every staff member against every requirement — who’s done, who’s due, who’s overdue — and sends the reminders for you. Set it up once, then stop chasing people — and pull an audit export whenever a reviewer asks for one.

It is included with program membership. There is a live demo you can click through before you join.

Put your headcount in and this works out what CCAPP membership is worth to your program — what you would otherwise pay a compliance platform, what the membership hands back on top, and what it adds up to over a year. Most programs are surprised by the second half.

CCAPP program membership $500 a year

    A per-seat compliance platform $7,150–$18,095 a year, 55 seats

And the rest of what the $500 covers

Compliance is one channel. These are the others, at CCAPP’s own published values. The first four land whether you use them or not.

CCAPP keeps a lobbyist at the State Capitol and a second one nationally, working on behalf of every member program — on licensing, on reimbursement, on the regulations you have to live under. There is no line item for it and no surcharge. Retaining a California state lobbyist on your own runs $10,000 to $25,000 a month at going industry rates, before anyone touches Washington. It is left out of the total above because no single program would buy it — which is rather the point of belonging to one of these.

Your program comes out ahead by $7,751–$18,696 a year

Platform figures are published list prices for comparable staff compliance and credential-tracking platforms, read October 2026 — about $130 a seat a year at the low end and $329 at the high end, with one-time onboarding of $1,650 to $2,100 on top. Each is either a vendor’s own published price list or a figure from a published public-agency contract award, and CCAPP holds the sources. Benefit values are CCAPP’s own, except Counselor Magazine at its own cover price and the conference rate at the published member price. Your own quote will differ.

      And against the other associations

Other SUD and mental health member associations charge on a sliding scale — by your agency budget, by your gross revenue, or by how many clients you enroll. Grow, and the bill grows. CCAPP is $500 whether you run one site or twenty.

The employer dashboard. Free compliance courses for every support staff member. California and DHCS advocacy. Conference and CE rates, the program directory, two e-blasts a year, Counselor Magazine and dual membership — all inside the $500.

One price, however big you get
Other SUD and mental health associations $300–$31,500on a sliding scale

Published dues run from a few hundred dollars for the smallest agencies to $31,500 at the top of a revenue table. Where dues are charged per client, one association’s application form sets them at $1.25 for every new enrollee, every quarter — so a program taking 11,000 admissions a year pays about $14,000. What you get is usually legislative updates, a directory listing and a discount on events.

No compliance dashboard. No CE. No magazine.

Ranges taken from the published dues tables of other California and national SUD and behavioral health provider associations, read October 2026. The per-client rate is taken from one association’s own downloadable membership application, which sets dues at $1.25 for each new enrollee each quarter; the $14,000 example is that published rate applied to 11,000 admissions a year. Your own dues will depend on which association you join and how large you are.
